Reg. Life-

My life consists of working, sleeping, eating/cooking, and driving a lot. Here are some regular life updates:

I randomly woke up at 5:45am one morning, saw the sky, snapped this picture, went back to sleep.

Trish, watching birds. A morning ritual.

On the left: delicious bolognese sauce that I made.
On the right: I successfully cooked my grandmothers famous chili, which doesn't really have measurements. For example: the salt was measured in how many times I needed to shake the salt shaker. It turned out wonderfully.

Homemade Tomato Orzo Soup plus grilled cheese, not pictured.

Big Mac night at Jessie's.
That is Devon on the left, eagerly waiting for me to take the picture so he could eat.
On the right, the Big Mac assembling station, complete with homemade special sauce.
For dessert we made apple, granola, peanut butter, chocolate chip sandwiches where the apple slices were the "bread".

So foggy!

Foggy rainy drive.

Baby Kai!

When I went home in August for vacation and to photograph some senior pictures, my friend Chiara from high school found out and wanted to know if I would photograph her little boy. I spent a couple hours with her and Kai at South Abington Park in Clarks Summit. We played in the creek and the water fountains, he is too adorable!

He was very shy at first.

I think this might be my favorite one. He looks so smug, haha.

Playing peek-a-boo with mommy.

He then began to take off his shorts and diaper towards the end.

Rachel's Senior Pictures.

Back in August, I also had the pleasure of photographing my sister's friend, Rachel, for her senior pictures.

Rat-capades.

Thursday evening I got home from work at about 9:45pm and was excited to watch the season premiere of Always Sunny. As I was unlocking the door to my apartment, I got a call from Nate, he wanted to come over and watch the premiere as well. While waiting for him to arrive, I began to take out the trash. I went to the back staircase to grab it when I realized that there was a hole in the bottom of the bag which can only mean one thing: animal. The minute I picked up the trash to double bag it, a rat came running from inside of the bag and into the studio! I immediately dropped the bags to the floor and jumped onto the kitchen counter. I was shaking. I was home alone and began anticipating Nate's arrival to help me catch him... or actually, to make Nate catch him. I called Sarah, who happened to be on her way home from a hockey game, and thank god she and Casey were close. While I waited, I decided to risk climbing down off the counter so I could shut our bedroom doors. Once the doors were shut, I jumped onto the arm of the couch and waited to be saved.

The pictures to follow are not good by any means, but I was too nervous to care.

Casey and Nate (who arrived wearing a blazer, only the best rat catching outfit) devising a plan.

Creating a tunnel of artwork leading him into Trish's (Sarah's cat) carrier.

The location where I dropped the trash bag once the rat ran out of it. Strategically placed in front of the studio. Sarah and I shut Nate and Casey in the room with the rat.

There's the beast.
When I took this picture, the rat screeched real loud then pooped from my flash firing. Gross.

Letting it go...

I stayed very far away.

Celebratory shot of whiskey.

And thank god Always Sunny plays again at 11pm...

Alyssa's Senior Pictures

I photographed my sister, Alyssa's, senior pictures as well. Here are a few of my favorites from the two shoots we had. I did some in and around Clarks Summit, PA and Scranton, PA as well as some in Hawaii one night while in Maui. Enjoy!

Anthony's Senior Pictures.

Back in the beginning of August I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin's senior pictures. I had a lot of fun, and his girlfriend and my sister also came along. We went to the Scranton Steamtown Train Yard, South Abington Park, and I made him climb a 15 foot ladder onto a foot wide ledge in my parents foyer. He was definitely a trooper and he got some awesome pictures that day. Here are some of my favorites:

This was the tiny ledge I was talking about. He was about 15 to 20 feet in the air while I was across the foyer on the balcony of the staircase.

My weekend on my cell phone (because I forgot my camera).

Tub party - piling in.

Five in the tub, not too bad.

Bathroom get together.

Excitement.

A tattoo artist from Japan giving a tattoo the 'traditional?' way. There is a question mark because I do not even know if it is the traditional way, but he bascially stabs his homemade needles into your skin instead of using a modern gun. I was told that he charges $175 an hour and requires a minimum of 3 hours. His work was awesome.

Casey's new sleeve. He sat for about 5.5 hours. I do not have a picture of the final product... yet. I can tell you it looks good.

I also got a little something at the convention, but you'll have to ask me to see it in person.
