There was a snowstorm. A Blizzard. Many things were cancelled in Boston today. Casey, Sarah and I spent the day lounging in our dark apartment. Other than in the bedrooms, the only windows in our apartment are skylights and they were covered in the 15 or so inches that fell onto Boston today so it constantly felt like it was 8:00pm. Actually, come to think of it, the bedrooms were also pretty dark because the snow was stuck to the screens.
What I saw when I woke up.
Neighbors house across the street and Casey's shoes. We got lucky... I think I read on the news that at one point today, 74,000 people were out of power. The snow was extremely heavy and many trees and power lines had fallen.
Sarah and I venturing out to shovel my car out of its spot in preparation for work tomorrow. The only place to walk was down the middle of the street.
