Jenny & Jeff were married at Habitat on Belmont which is an education center and a wildlife sanctuary. Jessie, my second shooter for the day, grew up going to camp there! It was absolutely gorgeous. If you actively follow my blog, you might remember Jenny & Jeff's engagement shoot, which was also at Habitat. It was a super hot day on their wedding, but all the trees provided shade and helped Jessie and I to create beautiful images of the happy couple. Jenny's bouquet was one of my favorites of the year!

Leslie & Jake - July 3, 2011
Leslie & Jake were married in Portsmouth, NH on a cloudy drizzly day and I photographed them along with Catharine Morris Photography. Most brides would be upset at the weather but it didn't phase Leslie at all. She was a beautiful bride with a sweet groom who had a hard time looking in her eyes during the ceremony. Jake was so afraid he was going to start crying he gave Leslie the smallest, sweetest glances. Now, for a photographer, this weather is absolutely perfect! Cloudy skies make for some amazing images and we didn't let the little bit of drizzle put us down. The night ended with a sparkler send off as neighboring areas had firework shows to celebrate Independence Day.

My 26th Birthday.
On Sunday I turned 26 and it was by far one of the better birthdays I've had in a long time. First off... I had the day off of work (Thanks, Brent!) which rarely happens on a weekend... and I did a ton of fun things with my friends.
Meara, the greatest friend ever, came over and we had breakfast outside by the harbor, then we met up with Michelle and about 10 others and we drove out to Bolton Spring Farm to go apple picking. Normally on my birthday it's a bit chilly, but this year it was 85 degrees! After picking a 4 pound bag of apples and purchasing some cider, donuts and other fall goodies, we headed back to Boston for pizza and homemade apple desserts!
We ate, played board games and had whiskey and cider. Delicious! Later that evening I met up with some friends from college and we had many drinks and laughed a ton. It was such a great day and I thank everyone who was involved. I have some amazing people in my life. Enjoy the pictures!
I shared my donut with this guy.
The whole crew walking up the hill.
Monica broke the rules. You're not supposed to take the branch with you.
Monica & Michelle! I think Michelle was confused and thought that pumpkin was an apple.
Tiny Monica enjoying an apple.
Climbing trees.
MEARA!
I wanted to take a nice model shot of Michelle, but she couldn't handle looking at the sun. Amateur.
Michelle has really long apple picking arms.
The smallest apple I found. I still have yet to eat this little guy.
