Twenty hours of travel and I am finally in France with my family. First stop, Lyon. Even though it was just a short visit in Lyon, we were able to walk along the river from our hotel to New Lyon and Old Lyon, enjoy a Michelin star rated restaurant and took a train ride to Cannes. The next post will be about our trip in Cannes, we just arrived and it is absolutely gorgeous. They are even setting up for the famous film festival, which starts in three days! But, before that, here are pictures from Lyon (captions below the images!). Enjoy!
River party.
My sister has been studying abroad in France for the past two months and she said the sign says: Wild Tavern "The feet of Julien and Milena".
My mom likes to wear heels everywhere... this time it wasn't such a good idea. Apparently it's all she brought here, good luck.
Complimentary French macarons in the hotel room.
The start of our amazing dinner at Tetedoie:
