Julia + Chase | Beacon Hill Engagement

Julia and Chase found me through another one of my couples, Kristina and Mike, who you may remember from their vineyard wedding this past fall. One thing I love about meeting new clients is finding out how they met each other, and Julia and Chase's story may be my favorite to date. They met while playing on the same recreational kickball league!

Julia and Chase were both nervous and reluctant for their engagement session, but once we got the first few shots underway they warmed up and had a great time, acting like true naturals in front of the camera. We decided to do their session in Beacon Hill and the Public Garden because they wanted an iconic Boston backdrop to celebrate this wonderful time in their lives... where it all began. They'll be getting married at a farm at the end of September, and I am so excited and honored to document their big day!

  1. This is an incredibly beautiful space to have a wedding reception. The space at Chicago wedding venues is a long hall with a few side rooms (perfect for dancing and hor d'oeuvres). The windows at the end of the hall led to magnificently gorgeous panoramic views of the city.
