Our third day in Barcelona brought on much adventure, and many many trains. After taking a cable car to the wrong location, we hopped on yet another train and yet another cable car Montserrat. There are multitudes of paths leading up to the main town and monastery of Montserrat, but we did not have enough time in the day to explore them unfortunately. The town was great, but the real attraction is the church in the middle of town, the interior was so ornate and stunning. It seems that there is a lot more to do at Montserrat than we knew of, so I would love to return at some point later in life, and suggest you do as well.
If you look closely, the monastery is up at the top between the cable lines.
Dad is not a fan of heights... totally takes the fun out of funicular. This is his scared face.
