Kristina + Mike | Wayside Inn Engagement | Sudbury, MA

I was first introduced to Kristina and Mike by Caty of Catharine Morris Photography, who happens to be their cousin. Caty and I have been friends and colleagues since I first moved to Boston in 2009. I feel so honored that I was not only suggested, but that I was chosen to capture their wedding! I met with Kristina and Mike last fall, and was immediately excited by the prospect of taking part in the wedding day they have planned. They will be celebrating their union later this year with family and friends at Zorvino Vineyards.

Kristina and Mike chose to have their engagement session at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, but despite the unpredictable forecast, we lucked out with gorgeous weather! Many couples are nervous at the start of an engagement session, which is totally understandable since being in front of a camera isn't a natural feeling for most people. Throughout the session though, I noticed what naturals both Kristina and Mike were behind the camera. They are already a great couple, but photographing them was so easy due to how effortlessly they flowed through the pictures with one another. I mean, check out the twirl they pulled off at the end, I didn't give any direction for that amazing moment!

Being referred to a couple is always an amazing feeling, so I am so thankful that a photographer I've worked closely with suggested me, but I'm even more grateful that Kristina and Mike have trusted me to document such a special time in their lives. I absolutely cannot wait for you two to walk down the aisle, until then, enjoy the last few months of your engagement!
