David and Ella's B'nai Mitzvah | Cambridge Multicultural Center

Back in 2012 I had the pleasure of photographing Talia's Bat Mitzvah, and this year her brother and sister celebrated their B'nai Mitzvah and invited me back to capture the day. David and Ella's mitzvah was a really wonderful day, it was great to see the family again and see how much everyone has grown since I had last seen them. Just after the services, we all met for family pictures in a park in Cambridge, and then later met at the Cambridge Multicultural Center for the party. Both David and Ella had their friends and family in attendance to help celebrate the occasion. The night carried on with rounds of limbo, dancing, singing, and of course The Hora! It's always a blast to capture the traditional dance! To top it all off there was even an ice cream sundae bar, which was a big hit among David and Ella's friends.

Although the entire day was special, one of the most meaningful moments of their celebration was their mother giving a heartfelt speech about David and Ella and how close they are, and how proud she is of the people they are becoming. Her touching speech was followed by a few home movies of their family, and I think it's safe to say all of their guests loved to see this.

The night ended with everyone dancing and celebrating the mitzvahs of David and Ella, and it was such a fun occasion to be a part of!
