Lauren + Tom | Married | Exchange Conference Center

The first time I met Lauren was at a coffee shop only two and a half months before her wedding. Her original photographer, and a respected member of the photography community, passed away unexpectedly. Shocked and saddened, I wanted to help her family and business in any way that I could and covering Lauren and Tom's wedding was the best way I knew how.

Lauren and Tom met at Holy Cross and were so excited to be married at the Exchange Conference Center in Seaport in front of close family and many other Holy Cross alums. With classic details like an aisle lined in candles, and a timeless navy and blush palette, Lauren and Tom said their vows in front of a gigantic window overlooking the harbor.

One of my favorite moments from Lauren and Tom’s wedding were the toasts. Lauren's father and sister spoke of the moments when they first met Tom and realized that he was the one for Lauren. Tom's brother told a story about when he and Tom were young and how fighting was more common place than getting along and that thankfully they have come a long way since.

In honor of Tom's late father, the bride and groom chose to fill everyone's champagne flutes with Miller High Life's "The Champagne of Beers", his drink of choice. It was such an endearing touch to an already heartfelt day.

Lauren and Tom, I'm honored I was able to document your wedding day. You are surrounded by amazing families and friends, and I wish you two nothing but the best in the future.
