Originally planned for the end of April, Maggie and Joe's engagement session fell victim once again to the unpredictable New England weather. We had to reschedule at the very last minute, but were able to find a new date, a Friday evening at the end of June. There was of course a surprise afternoon shower, but thankfully the sun came out just as we arrived at the Boston Public Garden for their shoot.
We spent the evening walking the perimeter of the garden, chatting about their October wedding, their puppy, Bear, and locations they're considering for their honeymoon. Although I had met Maggie back in January, ti was my first time meeting Joe. Together and separate, they are both genuinely nice and personable and so easy to get along with. Joe's love and adoration for Maggie was front and center, and he knew when to let his goofiness shine, which made Maggie giggle at all the perfect moments, making my job effortless!
As we made out way to Beacon Hill, I stole a few shots of the cute couple on one of the many quaint side streets of the historic neighborhood before they left for dinner. Maggie and Joe, I really enjoyed spending the evening with the two of you and I cannot wait until your wedding at the end of October!
