Today I did nothing but eat, lay in the sun, finish and start a book, and photograph. Unfortunately I got really burnt on day one (which never happens!) and I spent half the day under an umbrella, but I still had a good day. I finished Eating the Dinosaur by Chuck Klosterman and started No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July. I also photographed the rest of my sister's senior pictures. We got some really great ones... those will be posted at a later date.
Breakfast on the beach. Egg white, spinach and turkey bacon burrito with salsa and fruit.
For lunch: Fresh fruit, banana bread, and a strawberry banana smoothie.
Some polarized sunglass fun.
I wish everyone I knew could see how pretty Hawaii looked through polarized sunglasses. You can see through water!
Dinner time: Sapporo Japanese beer that is brewed in Ontario, go figure, and some sushi. This is a spider roll and some unagi (eel).
And the monster... the 69 roll (sex jokes aside, it was delicious). It's a california roll (with real crab instead of that fake crap) topped with unagi (eel) and roe.
