Laurie + Louis | North End Engagement

I had the pleasure of photographing Laurie and Louis for a mini engagement session back in February in the North End of Boston when the streets were snow covered and winter was in full force. As I mentioned in that post, Louis is the president of the committee that puts on the well-known Fisherman's Feast, and because the feast is such an important part of Laurie and Louis's story, we waited to do their full engagement session until the week before it occurred. It was a great idea to wait because we were able to take advantage of the festival lights! Not only is Louis the president of the committee, but they met six years ago at the Fisherman's Feast, so it's a very special time of year for them. To make it even better, they'll be tying the knot right in the North End in a week and a half, and I'm so honored they've asked me to be part of their day!

Our evening was spent walking our the North End, where they reside with their dog Max, and while we walked to our photo locations we had to stop several times because Louis is basically a North End celebrity, haha!  It was such a fun night, and both Laurie and Louis made the experience even better. Laurie's smile is so infectious, you can see how in love and happy she is. Let the countdown to the wedding begin!
