Laurie + Louis | Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding

Over Labor Day Weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Laurie and Louis's amazing wedding. You may remember them from both their mini engagement session and their Fisherman's Feast-inspired engagement shoot. They said their vows in a church right in the North End, seeing that Louis grew up right in the area, and moved to the Boston Harbor Hotel for their lively reception.

The Boston Harbor Hotel couldn't have been a better spot for Louis and Laurie's day, it's right on the water, is the perfect spot for a Boston affair, and has fantastic views of the city's skyline. Outside the church in the North End, Louis surprised Laurie with the band from the Fisherman's Feast, a big part of their life, and it was such a thoughtful touch! It really had all of their guests excited, so much so that they were dancing and singing along.

Throughout cocktail hour, they treated their guests to a cigar roller and the a capella group, Street Magic, who sing at the feast every year. It was a very Boston event, and guests seemed so thrilled to share in Louis and Laurie's wonderful day. To end the night there were fireworks over the harbor, it really was picture perfect. Guests danced all night to the music of K2, and you could feel the love and excitement radiating throughout the entire room. It was great fun to be part of such an amazing wedding day!
