Austin Prince | New Hampshire Newborn Session

In 2013, I photographed Amanda and Ben's wedding at Atkinson Resort and Country Club in Atkinson, NH. I am always honored to be a part of such special occasions and I love getting to know the couples. But rarely do I get to hear from the bride and groom after they've settled into married life. This June, Amanda reached out to me to discuss a newborn session. Her and Ben were expecting! Their little one would be arriving in October, so I jumped at the opportunity to document his first weeks in this world.

We chose a day shortly after his late October due date and began the waiting process. Ben and both of Amanda's parents have birthday's in October, so they were hoping their son would share his day with someone close to him. Unfortunately for the Schoenberg's, Austin chose to arrive early. Fortunately for me, he chose October 9th, my own birthday! I may be biased, but what a great day to arrive into this world. Austin Prince's name is a combination of Ben's Texas roots and Amanda's maiden name.

I was able to meet and photograph Austin at just 8 days old, and he was so great throughout our entire session. It is safe to say that both Amanda and Ben are smitten with their new addition. I absolutely love being able to document the union of so many amazing couples on their wedding day, but it is even more special to be invited back into their lives as their families grow.
