Sarah & Nic | Wakefield Town Common | September 6, 2014

Do you happen to remember Sarah and Nic from their engagement session I posted recently? Well, if not, that's okay, but check it out along with their wedding pictures. It's too good to pass up!

As I mentioned in their engagement post, I have known Nic for a few years and it was such a delight to be a part of his and Sarah's wedding day. Sarah grew up in Wakefield, MA in a very close-knit neighborhood. The whole cul-de-sac was involved in the wedding!

The ceremony took place at the Wakefield Town Common gazebo and the reception was a giant block party! Neighbors came together to set up and provide their yards, a local florist created the beautiful flower arrangements, Ipswich Brewery drove in a beer truck and there was delicious BBQ for dinner! It was an untraditional day filled with so much happiness, right in line with the couple's personalities. I loved every minute.

Nic and Sarah have a wonderful group of people surrounding them. There was a moment where the weather did become a bit scary. There was a tornado watch at one point! But, everyone happily closed themselves into the tent and celebrated the night away despite the windy downpour. Maybe not the safest idea, but everything turned out amazing in the end. Congratulations, Sarah and Nic, I wish you all the best!
