Sarah + TJ | Backyard Wedding in Wareham, MA

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: backyard weddings are my favorite. They are relaxed, intimate and filled with the couples' personality. It's amazing to be able to have this once in a lifetime experience in a place that already holds so many memories that are so important to the couple.

Sarah and TJ's wedding day at TJ's parent's home in Wareham, MA was a scorcher, a stark contrast to the freezing cold and wind we had during their engagement session back in May. Just as they didn't let the weather effect them then, nobody let the heat get to them on their wedding day either. Around 100 of their closest friends and family gathered for their ceremony overlooking Shell Point Bay. Once declared husband and wife, everyone joined the Mr. and Mrs. for a toast before they sealed their vows with a kiss!

Before the guests could don their bibs for the lobster bake, Sarah's sister/MOH Ann and bridesmaid Amie sang a mash-up of 90's songs, complete with new lyrics full of jokes about Sarah and TJ. There were lawn games, temporary tattoos, a surprise visit from the neighborhood ice cream truck, and So. Much. Dancing.

Congratulations, Sarah and TJ, I felt like part of the family and it was an honor to be chosen to document your wedding day.
